Hi All,
I have this 10 string pickup which I replaced with a George L pickup in my psg. Can anyone identify it? The guitar is made from MCI parts, the pickup measures 15.93 Kohms and is labeled "E9th".
Thanks,
Eric

Thanks for the replies everyone. I am not sure if I want to get rid of it, my thinking now is I should throw it back in there to see what it sounds like. When I got my psg from a pawn shop it was in pretty bad shape, in the process of getting it up and running there was a George L 10-1 for sale by a member, so I picked that up figuring the existing pickup was junk. I should do a comparison test to see which sounds better. In a few weeks I am going to break it down to change the copedant, at that time will also switch pickups.
Does it matter which end of the sho-bud pickup should be towards the bass strings?
Can anyone comment on Sho-bud versus George L 10-1 pickup tone? My psg is an MCI.
Thanks,
Eric |
