There was a question a couple days ago about what kind of "bedroom" practice amp some of you might use. There was a few choices given: Vox DA5, Roland Micro Cube & Fender Mustang I. My question is what effects other than reverb would a steel player use? I suppose it would matter what kind of music one plays. I'm thinking of getting one and would appreciate your input.
Thanks,
Miles

Personally, I don't play much rock or blues on my steels, so I don't really care about fuzz or distortion.
I really like to use reverb and delay in the kind of stuff I play.
I've got a Roland Micro Cube, and love the sound, size, battery life, features, price, etc. I just wish I could run the reverb and delay simultaneously. On my Micro Cube, you can only use one at a time, not both together.
