The great bluegrass gutarist, Tony Rice's son was killed in a motorcyle accident today. I don't have all the info but have read about it on several site's. Prayers for Tony and his family.

Confirmed on Tony Rice's Facebook page. Tony announced the following on FB via mobile:

"Our son john christian was airlifted after a. Head on collision on his mototcycle in burlington n.c. he was airlifted via helicopter to unc hosp. He crossed over in flight. Please remember him and our family in your prayers. His cchildren donavan, aaron, victoria, and levi. We are leaving the hosp. Now. Thanks for lifting him up in prayer"
