Pink Pedal Steel

Post by Tim Tweedale »

Does anyone have a pink pedal steel guitar? If so, you attach a picture?

Thank you.

No pic,and I've never seen one,but I think I recall a tune from the early '60s called "Pink Pedal Pushers" that might be appropriate for such an instrument.

Don't have any pictures but I believe Carco Clave played a pink Emmons.

Also, I saw a pink 6 string Cougar pedal steel on ebay a few months back. It was a really nice guitar and I'm wishing I had bought it now.

Carco owned an early Emmons PP that had been originally made for Dolores Hancock. I sat in at Tootsie's on that guitar one night about 15 years ago. Sounded like an early Emmons, and it was titty-pink formica, not the bright pink in the photo above.
My rig: Infinity and Telonics.

Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?
