A friend of mine who is a professional fiddle player is looking for a gig. He's looking for a quality (pro) band preferably based in Texas. It would need to be a country band (traditional or the new Texas music). Road travel is fine.
He wishes me to keep his identity anonymous but I'll add that he's played with several nationally known acts.
I've suggested that he review the Steel Guitar Forum to see what turns up from this post. If you know of anything, leave basic details on this post so he can contact the appropriate person(s).
Thanks on behalf of my friend.
Keep on pickin'!
Glenn

Hey Glenn,
Why does your buddy not want to give his name out? That is kind of odd given that he is looking for a job.
Could it be that he is wanting to find a job before leaving his current gig?
Let me know as I can forward his name along...it helps to have a name and some type of bio on the guy.
Keep pickin',

**** Bump for my friend ****
Howdy Gary!
I've been scarin' cats. I'll send you an e-mail and tell you all about it.
How've you been doin'?!
Billy,
I'm sorry, I'm not at liberty to reveal anymore than I have out of respect for my friend. I will say this, my friend is a fiddle player you would be proud to have as a band member and a friend.
Keep on pickin'!
