This comment was left on a Buffalo Springfield video, and, amazingly, the sound was restored.

"Thank you Warner for disabling the audio on one of the few live recordings of the Buffalo Springfield.

Pathetic.

What do you stand to lose by allowing someone to see and hear a low grade video of one of the most influential bands in rock history.

This illustrates why the music industry is in such sad shape. The record companies dont give a crap about the music, artists nor the fans.

Businesses that display such contempt for their customers are doomed to fail.

Shame on you."

This happens very often especially when someone from the Forum puts a link for YouTube for whatever kind of reason, so this must be worse in Germany since you can obviously see and hear it in your country. When this happened on the first few posts, I was asking in a post of the thread what artist/ song it was, and sometimes somebody told me and I got the picture. But I got tired of it.
I wasn't able (for instance) to access the Toy Caldwell vids in the Steel Players' section
As the comment was saying the record companies aren't thinking. The MP3 format sounds so weak that I'd rather buy a CD which has much better sound quality, and I think I'm not alone. It also makes me angry because I have bought so many records in the past from them.
And how many sales do they expect from a re-issue of a Buffalo Springfield album anyway? 50.000 maybe?

Sorry you can't hear the Toy Caldwell stuff.
fwiw, there is no vid (except a picture of the album cover). Just the song from the album.
There must be some way to get around this "some can see/hear, some can't", thing.

You get this symbol, with the text: Dieses Video ist in deinem Land nicht verfügbar. Das tut uns leid.
Translated: this video is not provided in your country.
We are sorry for that.
Which means I cant watch/ hear it.
