Guys,if anyone is visiting in Nashville at that time this show is "must see".It is on tuesday and with my day job I can`t make it but I was there few times before and it was amazing.Talking to Paul Sr. about steels was a blast.I had a time of my life. Also ALL of the guys in the band are great people and they don`t mind taking time to talk to people.I may try to make it on 2nd.There is a chanse to see the Nashville top session players jaming live so don`t miss it if you can be there.I would like to say thank you to Paul Sr. and Jr. for a great time and also to all the other guys in the band.Totaly awesome show to see.

The Players DVD is available at amazon.com
It starts with a C6th pull-off/hammer-on instrumental by Paul franklin called Coal Train Boogie.
November 23 there is a DVD release in the USA of the On The Night-Dire Straits concert.
The music on these DVD´s is timeless and will give you so much joy each time you play them.
[This message was edited by Peter Johannisse on 01 November 2004 at 10:07 PM.]

I attended the show last night. My goodness, the level of talent on that stage is second to none! I talked to some people there that came from 300 miles away just for the show. We that live here are spoiled by this. Paul has quite a backup band, and he was his usual, unbelievable, amazing self.

I saw and talked to several "big hitters" in the audience that were also in awe. If you have a chance to be here on the 16th, you shouldn't miss it.

I made it to this gig a couple of years back - it still stands as one of the most inspiration nights of music I've ever had the pleasure to witness.

I can't be there this time around, but I live in hope that I'll get another chance one day.

Peter - you had no trouble playing the DVD in the Netherlands ?? I notice they mention possible incompatibility with formats in different countries - although I have had no problem playing some of Jeff Newmans DVD's here in NZ. If yours works ok, then I guess I can order one without any worries.

Paddy,
most dvd players here in the Netherlands are region-free and will play every dvd.
I didn´t have any problems with the Players dvd.
Wish i could be there the 16th.......
