This'll be a KILLER!!!! How do I know?? I'LL BE THERE!!!
Larry Moore will be there, for those of you who need to go to the restroom.
Charles Reese will hopefully be good to go.
Haven't heard from John Floyd, Buddy, is he asleep on your porch?
In other words, all us usual morons will be there, wouldn't you like to be a moron too??
And PLEASE, don't forget, ALL proceeds go to the Shriners' hospitals. If you aren't familiar with their work, go visit one of their hospitals, and see what they do for the kids, at no cost to the family.
THEN come down and have a ball with us.
BOBBE SEYMOUR??????????

Well, Bill, who else is gonna be there? Mr. Dodd? You bringing your band? Who all's coming from Georgia? Joe Turner coming?
Come on, man, throw out a bone!

I talked to Charles Reese last night, he's feeling better and better! Hopefully, HE'LL be the man with the clipboard this time, and I can enjoy the show!!! Or maybe, YOU guys can enjoy it. Charles 'lowed as how he'd probably break out the turquoise Zum, too.
Remember, EVERYBODY who wants to, gets to play on Sunday with the band. Saturday night's jams have always been pretty cool, too, and with Doug Jernigan there, who knows???
Charles is gonna let me know about the other local guys who're coming, and I'll try and get 'em posted here.

Well I guess I'll join the ranks of the local "morons" but only by association with Stephen Gambrell.
I'll be there on Saturday and Sat night..I am bringing a Steel with 19 or 20 strings and a Tele with 5 or 6 strings..and maybe I'll even tune them..
It's possible I'll even bring some licks..maybe..but I don't own a clipboard..so I won't bring one of those....

Mike, I just found out, I won't be able to make the show, cause-----I'VE GOT A GIG!!!!
Guess that means Ferguson will have the coolest hair there...

Ferguson will have the coolest hair there? Only if Tommy Dodd doesn't show up! Looks like the Georgia Gang is about due to get the mules in shape for the trip.

Stephen,
Don't you know you're not supposed to book jobs on Saluda weekends. You can book jobs anytime, but Saluda only happens 4 times a year.
Seriously, have a great gig and we'll see ya next time. By the way, thanks for all your efforts at the August show.
See ya in February
Jim

"Saluda only happens 4 times a year."
Jim, I know that, but I only get offered GIGS about 4 times a year!(Unlike my steel teacher...)
I'll be doing "Always, Patsy Cline" in Anderson, SC for three weeks. My first REAL steel gig, and I'm scared to death. Thanks to Roger Rettig and Mr. Bagwell for their help.
OH YEAH, if you see Larry Moore at Saluda, please tell him,"Steve says 'Hello.'"
Thanks!

OK Steven,
I am beginning to take this personal,
You always tell people to tell me Hello......
You know when the Saluda Show is , so why don't you just not book something on that Sunday???
If I thought that much about you I would alway be there for you. I never book a job on the Saluda Show Weekend!!!!!!!
Your Pal
Larry
