Free Mooney Stlye Pull-Off / Hammer-On Lesson - ETS PSG
Posted: 10 Aug 2011 3:43 pm
Short Story:
Here's the new Video:
http://youtu.be/pvC_CCApEG4
Long Story:
Five years ago, when Al Brisco and I made the "Bakersfield Style" Instructional DVD, we posted Al's song Ralph's Reel at http://youtu.be/y14CKpmv3qU
With over 76,500 views, I suspect most folks here have seen it.
Since then, Al recorded the song on his "Pickin Your Picks" CD. He included a flashy intro and outro that didn't exist when we did the original recording.
I wanted to make it available to all that purchased the DVD. We decided make it available to everyone.
This cool lick will work in many places, and keep the Mooney Tradition alive.
ETS (East Texas Steel)
The new clip is played on a new ETS Steel Guitar.
This was the first time I heard one, and I'm impressed.
I'm proud that I am the first to post a web sample of the ETS.
No effects are used except the reverb in the NV112.
I'll be posting a clip of a slow ballad using that guitar in the near future.
