Larry, I can't believe you forgot to mention Roxie's great piano playing! For some of you that don't know this young lady, she has played with some very big names and has conducted many broadway plays. She is the daughter of the late and great steel player Ivan Ward. Also to keep me out of trouble she is the daughter of Zelpha Ward too! Roger made the mistake of not saying that Sat. nite! I was also impressed with the young fiddle player. Reminded me of Janee' Keener the first time I met her. She also has a great voice. I forgot to say Roxie lives in Ca and was just hear to visit her Mom and be where her Dad was so happy on the river. This was her first time to be around so much good steel guitar music since her Dad's passing. It was very hard for her but Roxie Ivan would have been very proud!

Yes,it's true.I got into trouble.I made a mistake and ruined my "perfect record".After I introduced Roxanne as Ivan's youngest daughter,Zelpha came up to the stage and said to me,"she had a birth-mother too you know".I was having so much fun with the show that I wasn't aware of how emotional it was for Roxie to participate on stage with us.This was the first steel show she had been to since her daddy passed away. After Ray Qualls presented the award from the KSGA to the Mullen Family, with the passing of Willard,Roxie just couldn't endure the memories around her any longer,so she had to leave.Roxie is without a doubt a "Super Talent".Whatelse would you expect of her, being Ivan's daughter.Oh yes,and Zelpha's tooooooooooooooo.

Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
