Well...Bob Allen has done it again. Here is the Ambrosia Maple Pro he just built for me. Natural stain and Lawerence 705 pickup. Photo's never really capture the true beauty of the wood.
Those that have dealt with Bob can attest to his superb customer service...and then there's that "Made in USA" decal!

Wow- that sure is pretty!

The one issue with the Lawrence is that a small pickguard is used, forcing the controls very close together - I simply replaced the tone knob with a really slim one, and now I can ride the volume without accidentally turning the tone...

Went from "almost perfect" to "perfect"!

Very nice, but now I am even more like a kid waiting for Christmas as I have a new Melbert Pro 6 being built and can hardly wait. Good luck with the new one.
