When turning on the power to my MB200, it does not seem to fully power up, so that the power light never changes from red to blue, fist time this has happened, no troubleshooting in the manual. Any help here would be appreciated. |

Disconnect everything from it, inputs, speaker, etc., then try to power it on.
If it's still doing the same thing, might be a defect. If so, contact the place where you purchased it, or Gallien-Krueger directly.
Is this a brand new unit? Did it ever work correctly before? |

Thanks Steve, looks like I'm going to have to contact Gallien-Krueger, tried powering it up completely on it's own and still the same thing. It's probably about a year old, I purchased it new from Musician's Friend, worked fine til this point. Thanks again I'll see how it goes. |

I had this happen with a bad speaker cable. I would not turn on a amp like this without a good speaker connection. Maybe try a different speaker cable. _________________ To write with a broken pencil is pointless. |

Thanks Tom, I tried it with every thing disconnected, just sitting on it's own, with still the same result, contacted Galien Krueger it's still under warranty, they suggested take it to a G & K authorized repair center and they will repair it free of charge. |

Just an up-date it's been at the repair center since June 24th. I was told it needed a power amp that had to be back-ordered, that finally arrives and now the tech tells me the back ordered one that he received from GK is also bad and he will contact GK, what an experience this has been. |
