Does anyone know who the blonde female backup singer is in this clip with Waylon and Moon? I -think- its from a concert in Norway in the late 80's or early 90's - many differing opinions of that on the web. I don't think there are any 'copyright' issues as both of the greats have passed on - and it's a video that has been on You Tube for a long time. . .

After watching the video i think the camera man was showing how much the other man and woman were enjoying singing with Waylon.

Thanks for your reply - I also think you're right - which leads me to believe even stronger that those two were nationals likely hired to tour 'in country' with Waylon - truth is I'll probably never know who she is. Shame too; because I think she's really pretty.

No matter though - so glad that clip was posted on You Tube - one more time we get to see Waylon and Moon work that magic.

Actually, and for what it's worth, I think she toured all over with Waylon and was a regular in his band. I've got a photo sitting right here next to me on my desk - I took it at the Concord Pavilion in Northern California from sometime in the 1980's. She's standing there next to the guitar player. Same exact line up.

Great show. We sat in the front row right there on Ralph's side of the stage.

I appreciate you taking the time to response. I wish that I could have seen Moon play live - Just never worked work for me time/location wise over the years. Glad to know that she wasn't an out of the country touring fill in. Maybe someone out there will actually know who she is & post. Thanks again!

Look like a show from -79 at Grand Ole Opry, Same band lineup. The camera operators are working good on Mr Moon with close ups

Her name is Carter Robertson. She and her husband Barry (keyboards) did tour with Waylon for quite a while. The clip I posted -was- from a Grand Ol' Opry 1 hr TV special "The Lost Outlaw Performance" 8/12/1978 - and *not* from a concert in Norway as I earlier thought. There are a number of posts from Opry show on You Tube.
