Just got this one today. The tuners, electronics, etc. are in great shape. The only negative is that it's been refinished from its original walnut to black. It's still got quite a bit of character, so I'm going to leave it "as is", at least for now. |

I've got a dream guitar...a 26" Fender D8 with 6 string spacing & height. One neck with a Trapezoid, one Stringmaster neck. Maybe a nice Seafoam Green finish. |

I can't recommend Jason Lollar highly enough for a rebuild on those pickups. It won't be cheap, but they'll be better than when they came out of the factory. I had my D-8 rebuild and they're perfect sounding _________________ Primitive Utility Steel |

Nice looking guitar, R.J. I've got one (also refinished, but still walnut) and I love it. I got Jason to remag the pickups and they sound great and more balanced with each other now... Are you sure your dream guitar isn't "Shell Pink"? _________________ "The Masher of Touch and Tone"

Except that you might want to put some strings on the front neck. It might sound better that way. |
