Aloha all you pickers,
I don't know for sure, but I think next Tuesday, the 19th is the day for the Manasota steel guitar Club meeting and jam. Correct if I'm wrong, I once thought I was, but I was mistaken

Aloha Jack,
I don't drive too well at night since my bypass surgery, so I'll have to hitch a ride, any offers?

Well as I compose this post, The Manasota Steel Guitar Jam is tonight. Tuesday at 6:30 P.M. is the starting time.

Come and enjoy the sounds of the steel guitar.

Phil-we can find a spot in the FSGC express on the second wednesday of the month.

The band was safe tonight. We out numbered the steelers 4 to 2.

Blake Hawkins and Phil Bender got to play all the wanted and then guest Jack Woodrough joined in on the fiddle (sometimes called a violin) just to add a little something different to the jam.

Thanks Jack. (On a couple of vocals also).

Thanks to our regular supporters Skip Ellis on lead guitar and George Basley banging on the pots and pans (drums).

Tom and I will continue to bring the P.A. and provide the place for our jams. We are commited to this project as long as anyone will come and enjoy the sounds of the steel guitar.

Thanks again to all and hope to see you and many others next month.

Clyde (bass) and Tom (guitar, vocals and DVD producer)

Aloha Jack,
I guess I will try to hitch a ride in August, and do you want me to bring my new George board guitar?

Phil, I won't be there in August. But you are welcome to come and bring your guitar. You can use the stage amp (the same one Tom uses for rhythm guitar). I has inputs for two instruments at the same time.

September may be a better time. I'll get Blake to come up too.

I talked to Blake and he told me about "the dynamic duo" last Tuesday evening..

You know I really envy you guys. Can't wait till I can retire and be part of the fun down there all year long. Love coming to Catfish Johnny's every February and I also enjoy going down to Bradenton for their show when my schedule will allow it.

Hey Jack,
I will most likely come up in August, September is going to be very busy.
Thanks for the invite.
