On Saturday, July 23 @ 1:30 CST, the Country Music Hall of Fame will stream a live interview with James Burton. This event is part of the CMHOF’s “Nashville Cats” program which honors musicians and session singers who have played an important part in country music history. The interview and performance will be illustrated with vintage photographs, film footage and recordings.

If you are in Nashville, the program is free with admission to the museum but plan to be there early as the event is a part of NAMM week.

Here is more information on the “Nashville Cats” program and its participants. Lloyd Green, Don Helms and Weldon Myrick have been interviewed for "Nashville Cats." Weldon’s program is archived online.
