I got a mail from a friend of mine saying Ray had been flown back to a Houston hospital this weekend. I found this on his fan club webstie. Anyone know anymore than this...

10/11/2004 - WE HAVE NO OFFICIAL REPORT ON RAY AT THIS TIME
BUT I HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT THEY FEEL THEY HAVE HIS BLOOD PRESSURE UNDER CONTROL AND IF THIS IS TRUE AND HE RESPONDS WELL THEY WILL SEND HIM HOME. KEEP PRAYING

10/09/2004 - URGENT

RAY PRICE WAS AGAIN AIRLIFTED TO A HOSPITAL IN HOUSTON AND IS NOW CRITICAL
ALL PRAYERS ARE APPRECIATED AND THEY DO HELP
RAY LIVES IN A VERY STRESSFUL SITUATION AND NONE OF YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THIS MAN HAS GONE THROUGH. HE DEEPLY LOVES HIS FANS AND FRIENDS AND CERTAINLY DOES NOT DESERVE WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO HIM IN HIS LIFE.
GOD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU SAFE RAY

I did hear Ray talking live yesterday afternoon when he called in to Bill Mack's Open Road Show on XM Channel 171 Satellite Radio. It was deeply touching with much emotion in Ray's voice (and Bill's) expressing his appreciation to everyone for their support and prayers. Ray said that he had a stent put in and that he was going to be able to go home. He also said he is very weak and will be having 3 months of cardio rehabilitation. Ray said his left front artery had been mostly blocked, with only a threadsized blood flow getting through it. The stent would have opened that up to allow the adequate blood flow. Ray also mentioned that he had just completed a new CD, honoring so many of his friends that had passed on. This is when his voice showed so very much emotion. It was so touching. We must continue to lift this precious man in prayer. What a gift he has been to country music! So glad I heard this and could share it.....God bless, Linda

I am sure that there are many of us that are keeping Mr. Ray Price in our prayers and that he returns to good health.
