You couldn't ask for anything better than this CD by my two most favorite steel players. I placed my order as soon as I saw this post.
The sample song on your website was just great! For all of the traditional country music lovers, this is a must!!

I was in the audience at Scotty's show when Lloyd and Don performed together. It was one of the GREATEST things I ever heard in the last seventeen years or so that I have attended. Don said that it was Lloyd's idea for them to perform Hank's tunes together.Don also said that he didn't want to get involved in a steel guitar "competition". Lloyd assured him that it was to be a "collaboration" between them and not a competition. As I recall Lloyd played most of the verse and Don backed with his classic fills.I am so glad that this is available.I'm sending my check to N.T.S.G.A. for a copy today! :D

Just got my copy in the mail yesterday.Sat right down and listened through it completely-What a great memory of an unforgettable performance. Reminded me right away of why Lloyd has always been my greatest inspiration to play the pedal steel. Now if the N.T.S.G.A. will release the recording of when Big E. and Ruggsy shared the stage at Scotty's :D
