Anyone coming please try to get there earlier so I can enjoy playing for a crowd. It is necessary for me to play a very early time slot to enable me to play and go on to my regular Saturday night playing job. I would love to stay and hear all the guys, many are good friends but I do have to be somewhere else later in the evening. Come on out early for a fun show. There are some fine players lined up for this jam.

Sunday AM---Attended this show yesterday evening --great time meeting old friends--layed back relaxed atmosphere--wonderful facilities--good music ! Was impressed to see Larry Garrett making good use of those new "E" levers and -as always--Tim McCutcheon continues to impress me with his selection of numbers with no regard to difficulty levels and the great tone he continues to master !! Fun evening, Roger--keep up the good work Siloam Steel Club !!-

Well I don't know about the rest of you,but I had a "wonderful weekend".The more we use the Arkansas Baptist Assembly, the easier everything goes.Maybe it's because I'm getting in better physical condition running all over that big auditorium. It was a blast to have Wade Morehead play fiddle and lead guitar for me on my set. He's a fine example of how a young man should conduct himself in his appearence.James has every right to be proud of his son's good looks, talent and wonderful personality.!!!"PARENTS,the anti-drug"!!!.
I also want to thank Charles Boatright and Tim Burton from Springdale also Larry King,Cliff Jenkins and Vance Monday for helping us with the band. It's a good feeling when friends come running to help when they are asked. The entire night went off with only a couple bumps in the road and we really appreciate everyone that participated to produce a wonderful night of steel guitar for our club and the community. We'll do it again on November 13th.Come be with us if you can.

I can only say Thanx for the opportunity to come up and play! The hospitality was outstanding! Met many fine folks. Rodger, I'm still stuffed with breakfast! It was great! And Wade had a wonderful experience and is ready for next time, as I am. Thanx for a great place to play music with Great People!! James and Wade P.S. Wade's good looks come from Momma(at least that's what she told me to say! HA!)

Roger,

Where in the world is Lincoln Blvd. My wife and I drove up from Tahlequah, asked 4 people where it was and not one knew. I guess we are just dumb old okies. We finely just gave up and went back.

Oh Jerry;I'm so sorry that you couldn't get anyone to help you.I don't recall ever posting the Arkansas Baptist Assembly as being on Lincoln Street.I try to always refer to the location as being "one mile south of U.S. 412 hwy on Arkansas hwy 59.Lincoln Street runs from Main Street in Siloam Springs south to Van Buren. The ABA's address is listed in the phone book as Lincoln, but that is Arkansas Hwy 59 South.I'm truly sorry the you missed the show. Please come be with us on Nov 13th.Introduce yourself to me and I'll buy you some popcorn and a coke.
