I want to thank all the staff at the Georgia Steel Guitar show for their invitation to me. This was a very nice show and the band was exceptional. Thanks for this special priviledge to be on your program.

It was great to get to hear you again. Once again, you lived up to your handle of "Mr. Smooth".

Thanks Roger, good to have seen you there too..I was especially proud to have the opportunity to see and hear Brett Day play on the Tommy Dodd program. If anyone loves our steel guitar more than Brett, I have yet to meet them. His playing and wonderful singing is to be admired and I am now one of his many fans. Tommy is to be commended for sharing his program with Brett. The Brett and Tommy Show was the best on the program.
Thanks to all for all the hard work that goes into a program like this.

This was our first trip to the Georgia Steel Guitar Jam.
But for sure it will not be our last.
And what about the band, Tight Tight Tight! Great job guys
What a wonderful time we had, seeing all our ole friends and making some new ones
One of the highlights for me was getting to spend sometime with Bill Stafford, He is Mr. Smooth in more ways that just his playing, what a nice man.

Mr. Stafford,
my thanks to you for being a part of our show. As I said, I have admired your smooth playing for a long time and you were a great asset to the program.
Danny, thank you and Ms. Pat for stopping by. Please don't be strangers. If Larry is not available, we will be sure to get you another escort through the city.
Great Show

I agree Bill it was a great show - good to see you again and it was great to be a small part of it for the first time. Denise said as we were driving away, "We have to come back to this show" - I quickly agreed.
Great to see some ole (not old) friends and great to meet some new ones.
Oh yes, sold all the seats I took plus some custom ones too. So that was good also.
By the way (an inside joke for those that were there) Did Jim L achieve his goal of 6 pounds?????

Hey Bill, we very much appreciate you taking time out of your vacation to play our Atlanta show! It was great seeing you and Betty again!
We can't get enough of Mr. Smooooooooooth, so please come back whenever you can! Loved your playing - and, of course, hearing details of your shenanigans with Elvis when you were young boys!!
You are right about Brett Day, Bill. He is so dedicated to steel guitar and his steel guitar family. Deb and Gary are terrific parents, and have supported the GaSGA since its inception. We are honored that they are part of our GaSGA family!!
Again, thank you for making our show extra-special!!

I can't say how surprised I was to see Danny and Pat Hammer come through our doors!! Next time you see Danny, ask him about the microwave in his hotel room! He and Pat are so much fun - and such dear people! Thank you for coming by on your drive back from Nashville, and making our day perfect.
Love you guys!

Joe and Denise - ok, so now you've stolen our hearts and left Georgia. Not fair!!
Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you for filling our emcee spot while you were here visiting grandchildren! Now I know why they pay you the big bucks in Mesa, AZ!!
I hope you didn't go back with the intentions of talking about my garage sale OR how we just throw all the 50/50 tickets on the stage floor for the drawing here. Next thing you know, everyone will be coming here to see how it's done. And we don't want copy-cats!!!
We're glad you sold some seats, too, Joe! Hey, if it's good enough for MY Tommy's cute behind, then I rest my case! Everyone needs at least one of their own!
Thanks again, Joe and Denise! See you at Scotty's.
Hugs,
Donna & Tommy

I would also like to thank the band, staff, and guests for an excellent show. Special thanks to Jim Loessberg for inviting me to be on stage for a couple of songs with him and the band (with Bill Cunningham's blessing). It was a blast!
