The B Pedal raises G# to A is not coming back as it should, sometimes flat sometimes sharp this is on both G#'s. I can pump the pedals and they will work for a while. Sometimes it is the same with the B to C# I don't have a clue why this is happening. I would really like to get it solved. Please help if you can. Thanks |

Billy,
It's a long shot, but check your cross rods to see if there's a little front-to-rear play. Sometimes with any weather or humidity changes the body can contract or swell. This can remove the play in the cross rods and cause binding.
Our temps can change 30 degrees or more on a daily basis here in AZ, and I've had this happen to several of my guitars. I looked everywhere with no luck until I figured out my cross rods didn't have enough play.
Now if somethings not returning correctly, it's the first place I look.... |

Perhaps the springs are stretching out on the raises and you've overtuned the pulls to compensate. If that were the case, it could be sometimes flat sometimes sharp... |

Sounds like the changer could be full of gunk to me -- how old is the guitar ? it might be overdue for an overhaul. _________________ 14'Zumsteel Hybrid D10 9+9
