I've just put this post on the UK BSS Forum. I've repeated it here to help UK steel players spread the word. George and Rita are good people and it's a bad situation.
I've just received some very bad news regarding the Norfolk KL Festival. During the last night of the festival thieves broke into the office and security cupboard and stole the proceeds of the festival, leaving the organisers with a huge debt. For people who don't know about this festival, the KL Festival is held at the Norwich Showground, here's the link:

George and Rita, the organisers of the event, are ordinary down to earth people who love country music. No expense is spared, the venue is splendidly set out, very professionally organised, with a huge PA and lighting system... the complete works. From the audience and musicians perspective you couldn't be looked after better. All the people involved with the festival do it for the love of country music and most certainly not for profit.
For many years the festival has provided steel players and their fellow musicians a great opportunity, but George and Rita need help. It appears that police have very little to go on and they could be left with this debt.
How can we help? As well as running the KL Festival they also run the Norfolk Country Music Festival, here's the link:

If you are intending to go to this festival, paying for your tickets now will certainly help their cash flow.
If you have any ideas for fund raising, benefit shows or know any other way you can help, I can tell you it will be greatly appreciated. George and Rita are ordinary people who are now thousands of pounds in debt. If you can help, the people below would like to hear from you.
