I didn't know, until visiting his website tonight, that Earl is from Philly! Hah! You could say we have a bit of a "history" of great guitar players from here, including Eddie Lang, Pat Martino, Jimmy Bruno, Dennis Sandole, and a host of others. And now Earl Erb! Hah!

When I saw the Tele and the word 'Nashville' I was about to groan and say "Oh no, not more of that dreaded chicken pickin!"

But when I played the video and listened... well... I was impressed to say the least. He gets an awesome jazz tone out of that Tele. :D
