We still have 3 or 4 open slots each day for players, Just sen me an E-mail if you want to play so I can pencil you in.

A quick reminder, we moved. The jam will be held at the Sam Ash store in Cerritos, 12651 Artesia Blvd, on the corner of Artesia and Bloomfield, 1 block from the Bloomfield exit on the 91 freeway. Thanks to Mike Maddux for getting us the mew location.

And as before, there is no admission fee. This is a totally free event. Nobody pays, and nobody gets paid. This is about getting together for good time picking and grinning.

And once again, if you just want to come and watch and listen and schmooze, by all means please do. You're all invited to stop by.

Looking forward to a better sounding room this year!
I've got the dates marked and will be there for sure!
Thanks in advance Mike for your efforts to put this on every year for all us SoCal pickers.

I'm interested in coming- Don't know if I'm a good enough player to play for y'all, but I'd love to come and meet LA steel players and learn a thing or two.

The title says it all. The jam will be held the weekend of April 16 and 17. It will be held on Feb 19 and 20 at the Sam Ash store in Cerritos, 12651 Artesia Blvd, on the corner of Artesia and Bloomberg, 1 block from the Bloomberg exit on the 91 freeway.

Mike Maddux set this up for us, and I want to thank him for his efforts on our behalf.

And as before, there is no admission fee. This is a totally free event. Nobody pays, and nobody gets paid. This is about getting together for good time picking and grinning.

I'm now signing players up. We will have 10 players per day, plus some core players who will be there both days.

If you want to play, drop me an E-mail (Mperlowin@sbcglobal.net) and I'll put you on the list. And you just want to come and watch and listen and schmooze, by all means please do. You're all invited to stop by.

Two players have already signed up for Sunday. Saturday is still wide open.

What are the hours of the jam for each day? I'm thinking about dropping in on my way down to San Diego.

By all means, come by. The store opes at 10:AM on Saturday, and 11 on Sunday. We keep going till we get tired.

I'm down for Sunday, Mike, thanks.

Dave Wren, you rat, you! It won't be as fun or good without you, but gigs trump, we understand.

Steven, it was a matter of my failing to properly edit, my original post. The jam had been originally scheduled for this weekend, but had to be postponed. It will take place on April 16 and 17.

It's about a pretty long drive from Ojai to Cerritos, (I'm guessing between 2 and 3 hours) but I hope you can come anyway. Just let me know if you want to play.

Hey Dave, your post about gigging the weekend of the jam was for the original Feb. 19 date. Are you free for the new dates, April 16 and 17?
