JayDee Maness

Most of Eddie's records in that era were recorded in Nashville with Sonny Garrish, but that tune was done in L.A. since it was for a film soundtrack...

One exception to that was the killer playing on 'Two Dollars in the Jukebox', which was Hal Rugg playing through a Garnet tube preamp.

The same song, different version, recorded one year later:

Jody; If “On Second Thought” is the correct tune that I have in mind, the sound track with “Paul F. on PSG” was used for the Video; which pictured Eddie's regular player, Ned Davis; playing a Bigsby Steel Guitar. I think this fact may have confused quite a few people!

Thanks John. Sure miss Ned and Eddie. Jody.

Yes, Jody. I moved to Nashville in April ’67, from near Phila., Pa. and my first road-gig, 4-days later took my all the way back through Pa. to Boston, Ma. for a three-week gig. Our band swapped 30-min. spots with Kenny Biggs and the band, out of Wheeling Jamboree. That's where I first met Ned, working with Kenny Biggs.

If I remember correctly, the Bigsby in the video belonged/belongs to Bobbe Seymour. I think that is what he said.........if not....I will blame it on post-70 brain fade.

If my memory serves me right.............I think it was none other than Earnest Bovine, but I could be wrong
