Thanks - Jody, Patty, and Billy! I always enjoy getting to attend the club meeting and hearing everyone play.
If you have never heard Jody Cameron play, you don't know what you're missing. I tried to soak up as much as I could. His knowledge, execution, and tasteful selection of phrasing results in some great music.
Looking forward to next time!!

Randy (Flash) Very Happy

Thank you, Randy and Lee for your nice comments!

Randy, I really enjoyed your playing as well. In fact, I think you know more steel songs than just about anybody I know! Your ability to recall melodies on the jam was quite impressive.

Lee, we missed you.

I certainly think "Flash" Boyd would be a fine addition to the Dallas line up next year.

Also, I enjoyed hearing Craig Schmidt. He has some especially fine C6 stylings and great tone to boot.

It was a fun time, for sure! JC Smile

Well I've heard Jody and Flash both play. Video taped both of them watch them several times and they both play great. I've had the good fortune to share the stage with some of the best road players out there. In my brief professional stint as a steel player. These guys play as good or better than any of them. We have some of the best players in our group of pickers. Sorry I had to miss the meeting. I'm working at making some changes at work so I'll have Sunday's off so I can make the meetings again.
