Hi folks. Below is a link to a previous post where some had expressed interest in the Perina Steel made by Peter Williams from Toowoomba Australia
I have included the pics here as well. It's a little battle scarred but supurb tone!

Thanks Stu, thanks Jeremy, They are great guitars and Peter is a nice guy. I want to see if I can talk him into making me a twin. Noel Anstead ( Anapeg guitars)thinks they are good. Peter winds all my pickups for my lap steels I make and they are supurb but as impotant, they are made to last with the process he uses. He wound the P/U for this pedal steel and it blows me away every time.

Cheers
Jeff

Hi Stu,

I still haven't taken any pix of Kenny Kitching's double-neck Perina, but I haven't forgotten. Last time I saw him (a recent gig for both of us) he played his 7-string Dobro. Here's a pic of one of the greatest gentlemen of the steel-guitar in Australia:-

One of our greatest!

Yep Kenny is one of our best. Not sure Stu how long Peter has been making them and no there is no web site but I am going to ask Peter soon as I want a KL moved and another added. Kenny is comming to our festival in June so I will be sure to snap some pics. He also had Noel Anstead (Anapeg Guitars) made him a non pedal steel he clips to the near side.

Stu, here is a link to another discussion from the 'players' section. There is another link to another You-Tube clip of Kenny and pics of his twin neck resonator. There is discussion from some of our finest Australin players ( like Tomme Grasso and Michel Rose)

I have just realised that the twin neck in front of Kenny is the twin neck I think he made himself many years ago??
