Was over to Carp's shop today, to pick up a set of legs for my '56 D-8 Stringmaster. However, the threads were 3/4" and most if not all new legs are 1/2". No problem, as he has inserts that will allow you to install his great legs.

Check out the pics. If you're interested in the legs and inserts, you can contact him at J&J Machine Works.. 817.560.CARP (Gary Carpenter).

Good to hear that the inserts were available. I made some of those for a String Master that I had for a while. I bought the legs from Steel Guitar Nashville, Bobby Semour ( or Seynmore ?) Anyway, good to hear you have new legs & problem solved! Smile

Kinda wish I would have kept the String Master sometimes, but a good player has it now, my pal Derrick Mau.
