That's the day before what some of us call Chetfest which is the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society Convention held at Sheraton Music City so I plan to be there for sure.

Myself and another steeler are planning on attending our first NTSGA jam in July. Is it OK to just show up at the door? We don't need any reservations or belong to NTSGA to attend the jam do we?

The Jam is open to all, NTSGA members or not. All we ask for is a Admission fee of $10 per person. There is a lot of music played for 10 bucks.

In response to a question emailed me, the members and the artist do offer their CD's & merchandise for sale at these events. There is an area set aside for the members to offer their products.
You can take as many photos of the event as you want. Bob Knight the clubs Sergeant at Arms said that audio recording was allowed, video taping was not.

Come one come all. We're sure to have another ball. Brings your friends and family. Enemies too if you like. Gonna be a great show as usual. Country music, steel guitar, great friends,--in Nashville--Don't get any better than this. Hope Mr. Seymour can attend again. Wouldn't mind seeing him play a set some day. Maybe a no-pedals set. Mike W. hope to see you there. Dan Burnham, Bill Stroud Mr Townes. How bout it. Hope to see everyone there.

John, I did miss your last set of non pedal but I still hope you will keep that beautiful dark green Franklin. As far as the blank spaces, I'm starting to run low on them so I will be calling you to get a "fresh supply"! Smiley, I'm moving in with you for a week so clean your house!!!!

It's true Mr. Floyd that Randy and Russ are great anywhere. They do a lot together and make for some really great entertainment when they play either seperate or together. With them on their set this time, however, will be Jerry Brightman, who is a master of the steel guitar and is so diversified that he will fit right in with these two guys. I wish I could make the trip but duties here at the seat factory keeps me working. The whole show looks really great and I am sure no one will walk away disappointed, but for my bucks I would love more than anything to be there for that third set. Have fun guys..
