zb custom changer help

Hello all
I am trying to change some pedals around on a ZB custom
serial #0576 it is a d10 with 9 knees and 9 pedals.
To start with I need to change the E9 from Day setup to Emmons.
I have never worked on one of these before, so I am a little unsure how the changer works.
any changer diagrams or operational theory, that would allow me to do this change without fully disassembling this beast would be greatly appreciated

Scroll down to about page three in this section (pedal steel) and there is a diagram of the ZB changer displayed there under the title "original ZB changer question". That should help you out.
