Steel Jam at the Milwaukie Elks ( see link below).
We start at 1:00 come early to set up, ready or not we start on time. Easy load in, HUGE floor, large stage for the live band, beverage and food available.
Vendors (like Tom Palmer and Jay S) are welcome, please plan to attend.
Those with equipment they want to try to sell, bring them on down, we will have a corner set aside for these items.
I will have a
Telonics volume pedal there for those who would like to try one.
I will have some power strips and extension cords but bring them if you've gotem.
For those from out of town who want to come but need to get back to work on Monday do not worry, Monday is a holiday and you have no excuses now not to drive on in.
The proposed song list is linked below on the Lynn Stafford post.
We sat 30 players a year ago with 10 who did not sit. We be having some fun now.

Wish I could be there. That photo on the Elks site brought back memories. I played there for Hank Thompson with our old friend, Sammy White.

Well dang it. I'll be picking about 250 miles north of the fun up in Edison WA.

Lynn:
good job to you and Kathy for putting up the set-list so quickly........I just wanted to point out for anyone interested, that there are charts for each tune (Nashville number system) if you scroll down past the set-list.
Todd Clinesmith:
If you're on the forum, why don't you bring a few of your guitars to the jam and let all the folks from PDX, Seattle and the rest of the northwest get a chance to see, hear and play these gems?
See you there.

I'll be in town tomorrow night (3/28 ) through Wednesday. Anybody got any suggestions for some evening music/fun?

I want to add that automobile access from I-205 at Oregon City is literally a few miles straight-ahead north on US 99E, no tricky driving is involved to get to the Elks Club.

I'll be in town and will schlep the old stuff down to the Lodge to mash a pedal or two with the gang. Maybe I can sit next to Bryan Daste~!

I thought I was booked to play later that evening and would need to leave early, but I appear to have been mistaken.

No worries, Bryan, most likely Duggie's just now running out of notes and is hoping to steel some new ones from you...

Dang
It seems like these jams almost always coincide with my wife's vacations. We'll be in New York. I'll miss seeing and hearing everyone play this time around.

Hey Bryan I thought it would be fun to sit next to you to get some younger guy ideas! After all, I've quietly slipped in to the old guy "Hazz-bin" status. It takes me 2 advils, 3 Budweisers and maybe a shot or two just to get them Fangers to keep up with all the whacky ideas that this senior mind comes up with.

The solution? Have another Duff's mini jam for your birthday!
