I will be playing with a band called "TIED TO THE TRAX" this Friday & Saturday (June 3 & 4) at the Landslide Saloon in Asbury, NJ (1090 Route 173. Zip code is 08802)
It's about 10 minutes or so from the Pennsylvania border. If any of you forumites are free, come on out for some country music. This place is one of the last "country" places in the area. We'll be doing a lot of Haggard, Jones, Strait, Asleep At The Wheel, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Zack Brown, Ray Price, Waylon, Willie, Patsy Cline......yeah, that sounds country allready.
I will have my D-10 ZumSteel with me and we have a great guitar picker in the band as well.
If you can make it, come on down and say hello.
Thanks,
Bob Miano

My wife is working until at least 9 on Friday night, maybe I can make it up there. I think I even know where the place is. Too bad that won't be Ben's night. I wanted to meet him, too. _________________ 1974 Marlen S-12 1968 Tele 1969 Martin D-35H |

Hey Ben & Glenn, look forward to possibly meting you guys.
John, last few times I played there they only had female bartenders (which isn't a bad thing !!) I haven't ever seen Noel.

From this unbiased (maybe) listener, Bob and the guys sounded good together last night. Seemed to be a decent crowd for a Friday night (the place isn't real big and it's out in the middle of nowhere), and they even had a few dancing.
For years, I have worked in the areas where Bob and Sean (bass player) live, so we chatted about that.
Whould have liked to stay for the last set, but was up at 5AM yesterday. Thanks for helping bring me up to date! _________________ 1974 Marlen S-12 1968 Tele 1969 Martin D-35H |

Sam I know Mike. He lives in Jersey City. He's a forum member so you should be able to contact him.
He had a recent post with some clips of him playing but I don't remember what section they are posted under.
