Just got home from a long but totally enjoyable day at the jam. I just want to say thank you to all those who came out and enjoyed the day with us. The music was great, and it was so good see all our old friends that we have met through the steel guitar events. I can't say thank you enough to Wayne and Paul for the super job they did with sound. That is the kind help it takes to put on an event like this. All of the musicians that helped with the back up. If I try to name them all individually I know I'll leave someone out and I don't want to do that, so thank you everybody. I especially want to thank Mike Sigler for his help, and for treating us all to one of the best performances I've ever heard him do. This was the 4th show I did with him this year on bass, and the 4th standing ovation in a row. His GFI guitar was really talking to us. Then when we did the steel guitar tag he went from one guitar to another and it seemed like he never missed a beat. Even on my Zum universal, which he said he was scared to death of. HUH. Didn't sound like it to us. Mike thank you so much for everything. We made the announcement today about the 3 day show we are going to do in April 2005, which, Mike, you have a spot on it for sure. More details about the show will be posted as it progresses.
The airplane rides were almost as big an event for some as the steel playing itself. I want to thank Air Charter Service and all their staff for helping to host this day, and say that they really made it a first class event. Great job Bonnie and Dennis. Sherry Kauffman, thank you for the advertising and promotional work you did for us. With out that it would not have been as big as it was. I can go on and on about the great time I had today and still not say enough so I'll again just say thank you to everybody and hope to see you all again next time. Tell the ones that we missed here today what a great time it was and not to miss the next one.
And BTW Chuck Campbell, You left your white marker boards at the table, and I have them. We will figure out how to get them to you. I'll be in touch.
Thank you all.

Mike, you sounded great as always. Haven't had time yet to play your new CD but am sure we will enjoy it.

Jim, thank you for a very enjoyable day. I don't know why steel giutar tag scares people so much. I think it's a real hoot. Your U-12 isn't all that hard to play. I just wish it wasn/t so close to the ground. |

Hi, Joe.
What's the problem with flying? You're safer up there than on the road, dealing with all the crazies.

Hi Dave:
You have no Idea,,,even crossing a simple bridge,,,I have to get in the left lane, put my right hand up in sort of blinder style and hide my right vision. I've always been that way. just one thing I cant break. but I gotta tell ya, Bonnie at Air Charter Service's at the Washington Co. Airport couldn't have been nicer. everything there is top notch. No wonder Jim had the Jam there. just super all the way around. as for the crazy's on the road,,,I'll take my chance's. LOL... God Bless.
