Kevin's "101 Hot and Sassy Steel Licks" is a wealth of usable E9 secrets for all levels. I've been playing a pretty long time, and there's a lot of new ideas here that I haven't thought of on my own! I plan to "steel" a lot of these Kevin.
Two thumbs up!!! |

Kevin, are audio samples of the licks provided? If not, will they eventually be available? _________________ E9 INSTRUCTION

Some of the "Keys" that these "riffs" are done in are confusing as to what "Key" they are in...some of the are obvious...some not so much.
Probably just me...but I's confused. _________________ DESERT ROSE D-10 8/5...Joe Naylor "SteelSeat"...

Hi Jack...
... I did not want to suggest key centers for this stuff because potentially there are many. If there is a phrase like #22...you could add it to a phrase you play in C ..add it to a phrase in G.. D and Am might work well using these notes. You end up on a C note and there is a full C chord right there at the 10th fret. I reverse that phrase often against a G chord.. Lots of options. If you have a particular example send it over and I will give you some suggestions...
Thanks
Kevin |
