Wild Side of Life Tune
I'm posting this mainly as a test to try out Picosong to see if I know how to make it work properly.
This is a song I posted a few years ago but a lot of people said they never could get it to play.

Dick Wood On The D-10 Williams

Dick : Once again you share your great talent with your fellow steel guitar lovers and players of same. A fine job, indeed, on a fine old standard. Was I hearing a slight touch of Jeff Newman or maybe an admiration of the singing voice..Both are certainly to be appreciated; your style of playing is so brilliant and smooth; love your technique of doing the " Chromatic; run downs and ups " all thru the melody.. Thanks for sharing this fabulous version with us..Warm Regards..Bernie

Bernie,
My main influence is without a doubt Buddy Emmons which I always felt is very evident in my style, phrasing etc.and I probably picked up some of Jeff's licks as I learned to play from much of his material he sold over the years.
Thanks very much for your kind words.

Hi Ricky,
It was great getting to meet you too. If Mickey Adams hadn't called I would have missed the whole show on Saturday because I had forgotten it was that week.
It would be fun to get together and pick a little.
You are always welcome to come out whenever we play Rodeo Exchange across from Pearls or to Billy Bobs and hang out with us anytime.
