On Sunday Mar 20th, 1 PM, The Five Rivers Steel Guitar Assn wil have it's Steel Jam at the old Biggers High School Auditorium, 12 mi north of Pocahontas, AR. The Empty Pockets Band will be doing backup with several guests and singers. There is plenty of room for steel players, whether you are a pro or just starting. We welcome more steel players and an audience that enjoys country music. We usually have 4 to 6 steels set up. Best of all-no charge-a great way to spend sunday afternoon.
Come and enjoy the music. For info e-mail me or contact Leroy Wilkerson (870.892.8157).

Ron, thanks for posting the event schedule. As a new player I really enjoyed the session last month.
Lot's of help from some fine steel players that have been there, done that, and remember when they too first slid a bar down the neck.
The Empty Pockets band is a bunch of good folks that know how to back up Steel guitars...
I also want to say that Gene Watson is going to be in Paragould Ar on April 1st...I won't miss that show.
