Post by Walter Stettner »

Good Morning,

Here's a track that goes back to the late 60s, featuring one of the great bands of the era:

Enjoy the music!

Sounded like Ray Benson, but I never heard Lucky Oceans play like that. Who was it, Walter?

As I mentioned above, it's Doyle Holly singing, and Tom Brumley on steel. The group is the Buckaroos.

Waiting for confirmation from Walter. :D

Whoa! I finally won! :)

Doyle Holly was a really good singer. I got to meet him and briefly speak to him after he left Buck. Shame he didn't make it bigger when on his own.

The Buckaroos put out some mighty fine music on their own too.
