I just had a call from a guy in the Lancaster PA area who has purchased a steel guitar ( a 70's vintage Fender 10 string) and is in need of some initial orienteering on the instrument. Is there someone closer than I who might be willing to help this person out? PM me or reply to this thread and we'll work out getting the two of you in touch.
Thanks!

Off topic here, Dave, but I bought an Emmons Student model from you back in about 1973. Still use the bar that came with it. Just thought I'd say hi.

Oh sure, first steel,... Till you snookered that poor guy out of his ZB,,,,, Mad ... Smile

Good to see you here Dave, I wish I were closer, I would be glad to help a new guy out, but I am positive he would not want to make the drive up here.. Seems to me we have several people from the forum in central/south Pa..... All the best to you and yours... bob

I think I paid you $115 for it in the parking lot of the Kensington Drug Store.

Hey bob... The Emmons was my first PSG... The ZB was my second but my first PROFESSIONAL quality axe... Bought both new.
Hope that sets the record straight

I think Fred Amendola might still live in the Lancaster area and Ken Gehret is near Reading, PA. There's also Bruce Heffner in Hamburg.
