That looks like the "National" logo that Panasonic used long, long ago. Maybe this steel has an 8-track player built in?

If it stays under $20.00, how can you lose ? Must have at least $20.00 worth of parts which can be re-cycled into something worthwhile ?

I've got a really nice little lap steel with the Epitome label...other than the a few little details (binding, bridge cover, brand) its identical to this...
