A benefit show which will include a memorial Service for Buddy Charleton will be held on Saturday March 26th at the Vienna Moose,
9616 Courthouse Road
Vienna, VA 22180 Phone 703 281-4370
Hours will be 10:00 AM till Midnight

All proceeds (donations) will go to Kay Lee Charleton to help with the expenses of his illness and funeral. By having it here in the area where Buddy lived, played, and taught the Steel Guitar, will give those of us who have learned from him, been inspired by his playing, and worked with him, a chance to honor this Steel Guitar Legends memory. The Memorial part of the Benefit will be held from 5PM till 6PM. I am now filling slots for players who would like to participate. If you would like to play or have questions, please contact me Chuck Campbell at 703-753-7551 or email chuckfly4u@aol.com

The staff band will consist of Allan Coldiron from Pittsburgh, PA. on Bass, Jim Hartley on Drums, Bob Strickland on lead guitar both from Columbia, SC. Local musicians and singers will also participate.

One of the special guest will be Russ Hicks from Nashville, TN. Others to be announced. I will post a update as planning progresses.

Trying to figure out how to get the motorhome across the country and back in four days, not certain that it can be done but if it could Eric and I would be on the way, in any case my thoughts and prayers will make it for sure.
