News Release:
Allen Melbert Steel Guitars (Music on the Mountain) have long been recognized as a maker of very fine, reasonably priced, six and eight string lap and console-style steel guitars. Located in Livingston, TN, Bob Allen makes these one at a time and is open to creating an instrument that is customized for the buyer. His attention to detail and fine craftsmanship is immediately evident and the tone and sustain delivered from these steels, whether equipped with single or dual coil pickups, is excellent. Bob's web site is... http://www.musonmt.com
Now, with each new purchase of an instrument, Bob will include a free Paloma Stone Bullet tone bar. Paloma Stone Slides makes the only hand-crafted, high-fire stoneware tone bars in the world. Delivering excellent sustain and a new tonal and tactile option, Paloma is rapidly gaining ground in the marketplace as an excellent "tool" for the professional player available at a very reasonable price. Paloma is proud to be associated with Music on the Mountain and looks forward to a long and happy partnership.

For those people not familiar with Jay's products, be sure to check out his site. He makes his bullet bars in two diameters, and with your choice of 4 different lengths and two different glazes (which do affect the tone). I found that having the correct length bar is very critical- you can hold and manipulate it much better if it fits your hand properly.
His bars are also lighter than stainless steel, and I had him make me one as light as possible. He also makes the shaped tone bars (like a Stevens bar), with or without a bull nose, and in your choice of 4 different lengths. And all of this for a very reasonable price.

Thanks for the kind words, Steve.
Just to clarify... I make my round, bullet bars in 4 diameters now, not just two. As a result of Forum members' input over the past year, I have revised my product offerings accordingly. I will be updating my web site info this week to reflect those changes. I'll also be adding my first "color" option as well... you'll want to stay tuned for that announcement and accompanying photos. _________________ www.stoneslides.com is my Paloma Tone Bar and Bottleneck Slide web site

Hello Andre,
Thanks for writing! I am sorry I missed your new order. I searched my email folders and found your custom-sized order dated April 10 but was unable to locate your new order. Would you be kind enough to give me the date you placed the order, and what you ordered? It would help me track it on PayPal also.
I am gong to assume that since I got this notice from you through my email, that you should be able to easily contact me again. I will also contact you through your profile email address.
