I broke the knee lever off my ShowBud Pro I that raises the E to F. I would prefer to order the part and try to fix it myself, or drive it someplace locally to be fixed rather than sending the whole guitar via UPS. I live in Long Island, New York not far from NYC. I would be grateful to any one that could offer advice to either help me get the part I need or to locate someone to repair my steel guitar. I have included pictures of the broken pedal.
Thank you,
Glenn |

No need to ship the guitar. Try James Morehead for the part. Or Bobbe Seymour. Or maybe Jeff Surratt at Show-Pro. All can be found here on the Forum. Go to "Links" at the top of the page for Show-Pro or Bobbe's Steel Guitar Nashville. Search for James Morehead and send him an e-mail.
Don't replace it with an original part! Whoever you get it from, get an aluminum replacement. I highly recommend replacing the others, too. Then you won't have to worry about this problem again. |

Brint,
Thank you for your response. I sent an email to James Morehead. I agree that it would be best to use aluminum and replace the others as well. |
