Jason Lollar sells replacement Stringmaster pickups - he'd be my first choice.

The Seymour Duncan Antiquity pickup is a direct replacement for eight string Stringmaster pickups.

There are two different pickups for the Stringmaster.
The early one were chrome covered and the later ones had a black plastic cover.
Also, they were slightly different in size.

FYI I recently traded emails with jason Lollar about his stringmaster pickups. The ones he offers are repros of the later 50's versions that have plastic covers. The earlier 50's chrome covered ones are, in fact, a different size, but he can wind them as a custom order.

Brad and Scott, I would also recommend Jason, the problem is that with the carriage two Stringmaster pickups would be $250, upon arriving in the UK they would be incurring a VAT charge of 20% and a clearance fee of $20 from the UK Customs and Excise. Making the real cost $270 + 20% (That's how they calculate it.)

$324.. is a little expensive, especially when Ron Bennett can supply them at £90 a pair. ($144)
