I've forgotten who played the steel and killer solo on Eddie Rabbitt's "On second thought". That's one of my all time favorites. Who played it? |

Thanks Jody. I seemed to recall it being Paul, but forgot. |

If I were a betting man, I would have lost the farm on this one. The tone and technique has J.D. written all over it. _________________ GFI ULTRA D-10, EVANS, FENDER 2000 (WORN OUT) TWIN REVERB W/JBL'S, OLD 4-10 BASSMAN |

I loved the video on that tune... It was done like an old fifties TV program and Ned was playing an old Bigsby steel to Paul's solo and fills, kinda steel lip synching or something like that. Ned Davis played steel with his fingerpicks on his middle and ring fingers with a thumbpick and a bare index finger.....JH in Va. _________________ Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!! |
