I love mine! I doubt if I'd ever use anything else for the rest of my run...
Depending on what the shipping is, you might want to contact Ken Fox and see what he has to offer. |

Thanks for the responses guys!
Looking over the various model of 15" speakers and trying to relate them to a KB 100 keyboard amp, I'm not sure which 15 would be best suited for KB 100. The amp is only 80 watts and I'm not sure a Bass Speaker is the correct choice, but for all I know - all 15" speakers could be bass speakers. |

Gary,
The keyboard amp should have a crossover to seperate the low and high frequency sounds. If you could find out what that crossover point is, 400hz, 800hz, 1000 hz or higher it would be easier to make a recomendation.
You also need to know the impedence of the speaker you are replacing. I would think any bass speaker or PA speaker of the correct impedence should work just fine. _________________ On man....let the smoke out of another one. |

It is a full range amp, no ctossover. I do believe it uses a piezo horn, no crossover needed for a peizo hprn |

From the list from that vendor the KappLite 3015 seems it would be best with the frequenct response it has. More power handling than you need but that is not a bad thing. Long bassy keyboard notes/chords han make a lot of heat in a voice coil.
Sorry it didn't research the amp and know about the piezo horn. _________________ On man....let the smoke out of another one. |

The Emminence Delta Lite 15" is what was used at one time with the Evans SE-200 steel guitar amp. I compared it to the Peavey 1501-4 in a Nashville 400 and the Delta Lite had a better sound and I was going to replace the 1501 with the Delta Lite but the Peavey mounting screws were too short and I didn't want to change them.
Only issue, the Delta Lite is an 8 ohm speaker and many amps require a 4 ohm. |
