Hey. I never realized that they used Paul and his red and blonde guitar in this video instead of Alan's regular steel guitar player.

Boy do I miss this era. The late 80's and early to mid 90's had some of the best country ever and I personally think Paul's and Brent's (and of course Hughey's too!)master picking is what really brought it out and made it sound so good.JMO

At about 1:00, on the line "before you drop that quarter", the drunk that turns around and faces the camera sure looks like Otis Campbell, from the old Andy Griffith Show.

Aha!

"Smith later used his Otis Campbell character in commercial spots for the Mother's Against Drunk Driving organization and appeared as Otis in Alan Jackson's Don't Rock The Juke Box music video."

There are not many solos that I learn note for note, but when this one came out I loved it so much that I had to learn it. There are a couple of spots where the timing is not where you would expect it to be which makes it even more cool. I think Paul should have got some kind of award for this one. You know...like the Together Again award.

Phooey! Here's what I get when I try to view this video ...

"This video contains content from Vevo, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds."

Hey Dennis I have the solution.
Im here in the UK at the moment and as the rule goes you cant watch some USA things over here over the interent.....but I do all the time. Basically download hotspot shield which basically hides where your pc isare, ie: me in the UK, the software will make the usa server think im in the USA so it enablers me to watch all USA things over here, like HULU etc and all USA TV channels

Download here

Thanks Jamie, much appreciated. It worked like a charm. :D

I was going to ask you if that is George sitting in the shadow to the left of the juke box, but that question was answered near the end of the video.
