I'm guilty, although my family has taught me never to admit it.

How was the Doug J. seminar?!

Pete,

The DJ seminar went great I think. Since it's my first one I don't have any way of comparing, but will say that I'm looking forward to the next one.

He had a booklet that listed scales, speed picking ex., and a couple tunes for E9 and C6, and worked straight from that. There were fewer people than expected (12 I beleive)which was a bummer for Doug although it allowed him to spend a little more time with people who hadn't been playing long.

Met some great people and saw more beeuteyful steels in one place than I've ever seen.

Doug gave about an hour concert at a local church from 7-8PM. He is the first steel great that I've seen play live, and none of the words or phrases I can think of to describe it seem to do it justice. Just plain beautiful, his sound, choice of tunes, and playing, to me it couldn't have been better.

Wished you could have been there.

How was Calyfornia?

Thank you North West PEDAL STEEL GUITAR
PLAYERS. I know some of you who were at the
seminar, and some I haven't met as yet.
Doug Jernigan spent time at my house and he
is to me a good friend,a great steel player,
"ONE OF THE BEST", and one of the greatest
teachers in his helping those who are struggling and trying their best to play the
steel guitar. Thank you Doug for the priviledge of knowing you. It was a great time in my life and I am hoping you will
come back soon. Have a great time in England. Best regards to all. Darrell Klein
