Stop Press....hold everything....switch off the TV...send the kids to the Mall....I've got it! I missed one about four months ago, and had virtually given up on getting one again. Imagine my surprise when one came up on a local advert website here in Ireland! There it was, just waiting for me. We did the deal, then the snows came, then the thaw, then he could and I couldn't, then I could and he couldn't, then it snowed again, then it was Christmas.....but today, at long last I bought it home safe and sound, and now it's sitting here waiting to be set-up. Oh happy day. My very own CARTER STARTER!!!!!!!!!!!
Gotta go...lots of learning to do. Very Happy

Well Tony, if you ever tear yourself away from your new Carter Starter long enough to read this post...I want to offer my best wishes to you on realizing your dream. It looks like your are going to have a well deserved Happy New Year! Very Happy I have had a few Carter Guitars over the years and they are very good playing and very well built guitars.
Good luck to you... let us know how you are coming along from time to time.
