Well, I now have a Vibrosonic with the JBL D-130F and I love the tone I'm getting out of it with the GFI! I have an SKH that I haven't tried with it yet but I'm sure it will be a treat Very Happy

Does anyone know how to tell the year model by chance? It's a 100 watt model with the master volume serial #A606973.
Thanks,
Dave

now you just need to rewire it so that you can get a decent bias out of the power tubes!

I didn't set the bias on the amp and have no idea what the plate voltages are running. Hopefully I will get long life out of the tubes as is. I have no hum in the amp even at higher volume. Nothing but crisp clean tone!

I also believe in the philosophy of "if it ain't broke don't fix it!" I'm getting a great sound out of the amp and I am very satisfied as it is. Very Happy

Merry Christmas to you as well, David!

I meant to include the link to where you can date Fender amps by serial number:
