Nashville 400

My Nashville 400 sounds like there is either to much reverb, or a cracked speaker. Reverb is shut off, and I don't see a tear in the speaker. I can't explain the real sound. It's like to much reverb or bass. Got any ideas out there?

I know very little about amp electronics but here is my story. I bought a used Nashville 400 about 6 months ago. It sounded like the speaker was cracked. I took to my authorized peavey dealer and left it off with instructions to install a new speaker. He called me two hours later and said to come pick it up. He said the magnet in the speaker had shifted (probably during shipping) and he reset it. It was a $20 fix and it has worked fine every since.

Thanks for the reply. Now if I only knew where the magnet is I could maybe reset it. Got any ideas where it is or how to reset it.
Thanks

I see from your posting that you’ve tried the stereo outputs live.
